The Times and Sunday Times today launched their new websites. They are hoping that a four week free trial will encourage readers to subscribe to the sites at a cost of £1 a day or £2 a week. The Times editor, James Harding, interviewed this morning on Radio 4′s Today Programme, said he believes charging a subscription is the best way of funding online news. Read more…
